What is Tangible and Intangible assets



Tangible Assets

Tangible assets mean those assets. Which can be felt and touched. which have a physical existence.
Tangible assets can include both fixed and current assets. A few Examples of such assets:

  • Land
  • Building
  • Machinery
  • Furniture etc. 

Intangible Assets

Intangible assets are the opposite of tangible assets. which can't be felt and touched. That does not physically form. Intangible assets can either be definite or indefinite, depending on the kinds of assets in question. 
Intangible assets only exist on paper. A few examples of such assets;

  • Trademark
  • Patent
  • Goodwill
  • Brand Name etc.
